The holidays can be difficult to navigate for LGBTQ+ youth and are often a time of isolation. That’s why each December, we come together on Twitch to celebrate chosen family — because it offers us a unique platform to create a global space for connection. It’s where we can gather, share stories, and experience the power of community in real time. It’s a reminder that, no matter where we are, we’re never truly alone.

So this Thursday at 1pm PT/4pm ET on Twitch, come celebrate with family on our Fourth Annual Chosen Family Holiday Stream [[link removed]]. It Gets Better Twitch favs Spofie, Gleaney, BeaPlays and MattHallPlays will be gathering for a gift exchange, holiday music, a game of Dress to Impress with some special guests, a makeup session thanks to our friends at M.A.C. Cosmetics and more.

Chosen family represents resilience and joy — it's how we craft our own support systems and nourish relationships that will rejuvenate and validate us. Especially now, in our current political climate, it’s vital to take a break, refresh, and recharge so we can preserve our joy. The Chosen Family stream offers just that: a chance to step away from the weight of the world, find inspiration, connect with others, and draw strength from community.

This year, as we celebrate together, we’re sending a message to LGBTQ+ youth everywhere that, no matter the challenges we face, joy is ours to claim together. With community by our side, it becomes the fuel we need to continue thriving.
