Dear John,
It’s time to end Mitch McConnell’s assault on women’s rights–and we need you with us.
Donald Trump may be our nation’s most high-profile enemy of women’s rights, but in many ways Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has been even more dangerous.
Before Trump was elected, McConnell blocked the appointment of Merrick Garland to the U.S. Supreme Court. Once Trump took office, McConnell began rubberstamping his radical policies and extremist judicial nominees—including anti-woman Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. And now during the pandemic, McConnell is blocking meaningful relief for people hit hardest by the crisis unless it includes another restriction on federal money going toward health plans that cover abortion.
For all these reasons and more, we’re launching our Stop Mitch McConnell Match Campaign to raise $100,000 by June 30. A generous group of NOW supporters are matching every gift between now and the deadline. We need everyone who can step up to help reach the goal. John, can NOW count on you to be one of the first to give to the “Mitch Match” and help repair the destruction McConnell and Trump have done?

With McConnell doing more harm to women with each passing day, it’s critical that we stop him before the damage is irreversible.
When you give today, you will have TWICE the impact to help NOW to prevent Mitch McConnell from sanctioning more dangerous judicial nominees. We’ll educate and mobilize voters to elect feminists at every level in November. And together we can build support in Congress for pro-woman legislation like the Women’s Health Protection Act and the ERA.
