Friends and Comrades-

We continue to be impressed by the passion and commitment we are seeing in the mutual aid work of the Burrito Brigade! They've served hundreds of free burritos to their fellow Santa Feans over the past few weeks! Along with their great work continuing, we're also looking to put some pressure on the city council to provide more affordable and transitional housing at midtown, and our monthly social is this Saturday!

Speak Up for Affordable Housing

This Wednesday the City Council will be voting on the sale of six parcels of land at the midtown campus to create a larger film studio, along with 150 housing unit, only 15% of which will be fully affordable. In a city where the working class is increasingly squeezed out of our city due to rising rents, this is not enough.

?

If you're able, please join this week's City Council meeting and let out our Councilors know that the people of Santa Fe demand an increased focus on using midtown for affordable and transitional housing.?

?

You can attend the meeting in person or join the meeting at this link. Public comment usually begins at 7pm.?

Saturday Social!

Let's raise a glass in solidarity! Please join us this Saturday, 12/14, for our monthly Socialist Social! We will meet at 5pm at Nuckolls Brewing on the Railyard.

DSA depends on support from ordinary members, rather than corporate funding or grants. As we ramp up our campaigns to take on the millionaire and billionaire class in New Mexico, any donations you can provide will go a long way.
