It’s important that our communities are fully informed about the importance of our state and federal courts to ensure they remain fair and independent.
In 2025, Pennsylvania will elect judges and justices in partisan elections, and participate in nonpartisan judicial retention elections, including three PA Supreme Court seats. A more civically engaged electorate is more likely to turn out to vote in PA’s 2025’s judicial elections.
Conversely, federal judges are nominated and confirmed for lifetime appointments. Their rulings have an expansive impact on our daily lives.
