Named after the pills (mifepristone and misoprostol) used in a medication abortion, Mife and the Misotones debuted at the Democratic National Convention, spreading the facts about these miracle drugs and making sure protecting access to abortion care was top of mind for every politician, delegate, and attendee there.
Medication abortion accounts for 63% of all US abortions. Since the overturning of Roe v. Wade, extremists have unleashed a new set of nationwide attacks to undermine access to these drugs including relentless attempts to revoke FDA approval that would lead to a federal abortion ban.
Mife and the Misotones is just one of the many ways AAF is working hard to raise awareness about these attacks, and arm the public with information to join us in the fight!
