As the nation prepares for Christmas, it is worth noting that the "good will toward men" thing is fraying.  First, the masculine noun is obsolete. It's now ladies, gentlemen, trans-ers, binary folks, on and on.  Exhausting.   Then there's money.  Not much cash in it for the goodfellows. Uh-oh. More noun problems. The point I'm trying to make is that hate sells, benevolence not so much.
