Hi friend, it’s Ben.

I want to speak to the moment we’re in right now.

On the one hand, we’re seeing the terrifying array of people Donald Trump is appointing to his administration. It’s clear his choices are based not on expertise or fitness for the job, but on loyalty to him and his extreme MAGA agenda. We fought with everything we had to prevent this outcome, but starting January 20, it’s coming.

On the other hand, we also know that Trump is bad at being president. Last time, he tried to repeal the Affordable Care Act, but that fell apart after a nationwide uprising. And his 920-page wish list, Project 2025, is full of more things unpopular with voters, like more tax cuts for the superwealthy. Trump will no doubt make some of these policies a reality, but many will fail.

That doesn’t discount the damage Trump can do—it’s going to be rough for a while. But when you face a disastrous presidency like Trump’s is sure to be, it can lead to a resurgence of all kinds of organizing and hope and thinking about how we can win elections again.

Well, the moment to start tapping into that hope and gearing up to win those elections is not after Trump starts wreaking havoc—it’s right NOW.

On April 1, 2025, the Wisconsin State Supreme Court race will be the first giant election in the new Trump era. By electing Susan Crawford, we have a chance to win a victory that locks in a forward-looking majority all the way until 2028.

Will you chip in $24 to WisDems to keep up the fight to elect Susan Crawford to the Wisconsin Supreme Court, and build on the gains Democratic candidates made in November? »

It’s true we didn’t win the presidency in November, but in the face of a national rightward shift, Wisconsin reelected Senator Tammy Baldwin to a third term, and Democrats picked up 10 State Assembly seats and flipped four targeted State Senate seats blue.

Those victories happened thanks to your support of the year-round organizing by WisDems.
Your grassroots donations provided us with the resources to reach Wisconsinites in every corner of the state, and remind them of the stakes of every election, even those in the off-years.

We have tons of work to do to prepare for April 1, 2025, so we need your support now more than ever. Won’t you donate $24 right now to help us win this critical April election, and fight back against MAGA extremism? »

With your support and a lot of hard work, we can win.

So let’s get to work and win in April.

Thank you in advance.
