24 hours left in Big Give 2024. Match funding will go to waste!
Good morning John,
It's the final day of the Big Give Christmas Challenge but I'm sorry to say we're a way off fully funding our project in support of women with disabilities in Nepal.
We have £12,565 left to raise, all of which will be DOUBLED by three generous supporters including The Coles Medlock Foundation. But if we don't raise all the funds, we can't access all the match funding available!
Our partner, the Nepal Disabled Women’s Association, are nervously waiting to hear if we've hit the target or not. I really hope we won’t let them down, John. Chip in now.
You've only got until midday tomorrow to double your donation. When it's done, it's done.
Nepal Disabled Women’s Association (NDWA) are on the frontline. They work on a daily basis directly with Nepalese women with disabilities all across the country.
They provide essentials, givesupport to become financially independent, and train women with disabilities on their rights and how to claim them. They even train police forces to respect the individual needs of women with disabilities when reporting violence.
When you click on the links in this email and donate, your entire donation will go directly to this work for women with disabilities with NDWA. And, as whatever you give will be doubled, you’ll be doing twice the good.
But this work won’t go ahead unless we raise the funds.
We’re not just saying that: it’s the simple truth.
Until we all have equal rights, none of us do. That’s what being part of a global women's movement is all about. Can you join us and everyone who’s already donated in helping to make sure no woman is left behind?
Once the Big Give ends tomorrow, it’s over. Even if you can only donate once a year, now’s the time to do it, John. Thank you so, so much in advance.
Thanks, as always, John, for being part of Womankind Worldwide. It’s through the commitment of all of you that we can fund and connect so many incredible women’s rights organisations like NDWA.
Whether you were able to give as part of this Big Give or not, we just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for staying engaged, and doing whatever you can to help us achieve our feminist future.
With best wishes,
Martina Hoggart
