Dear John,
As passionate defenders of our climate and environment, I want to make sure you saw Eliza’s last email. The Owyhee needs your help! Donate now: [link removed]
A contribution of any amount will help us to fight for the protection of the Owyhee Canyonlands, a sacred place that can be enjoyed by everyone for generations to come. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, and the largest conservation opportunity in the American West. Did you know that a gift of $50 is all it takes for us to recruit a volunteer who will attend town halls, write letters to the editor (LTEs) and speak to elected officials in support of the Owyhees? Hi John,
Protecting the Owyhee Canyonlands has been our top priority campaign this year, and for good reason. The Owyhee Canyonlands is a vast, magical, and sacred place of more than 2.5 million acres, presenting the largest conservation opportunity in the American West. This one-of-a-kind treasure has no protections even though it faces encroaching threats of oil, recreation, and farming. But it needs you! [[link removed]]
We’re running a fundraising drive to fund our final push to protect the Owyhee. Our goal is $5,000. If you donate now, your gift will go towards gathering petition signatures, recruiting volunteers to attend town halls, and empowering volunteers to write letters to the editor (LTEs) in support and speak to elected officials. Will you pick up the call and support the protection of the Owyhee Canyonlands by donating now?

The Owyhee is a special place that needs our protection, and we need the power to do it. We need our volunteers to continue to show up for the Owyhee, and we need the continued support of our generous donor base. Activism is what gets stuff like this done, but it takes all of us doing and giving what we can at every step of the way.
