"Wolf admin says SNAP restriction could impact 200,000 Pennsylvanians"

"The governor's office and state Department of Human Services said that Friday based on an initial analysis, about 200,000 people in over 120,000 households could potentially lose the benefit."
-- WITF, 7/26/19

John,

In another grotesquely characteristic move, the Trump administration is doing everything they can to make sure fewer -- not more -- Americans are able to achieve the ever-dwindling American dream.

Making it harder to qualify for our country's indispensable Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) isn't about closing alleged "loopholes" in the system. It's about paying for the GOP's exorbitant tax cuts for the wealthy by punishing hard-working American families.

If you agree, sign our petition TODAY to save SNAP and feed the 3 million people -- 200,000 right here in Pennsylvania -- Trump wants to cut from this program >>

Make no mistake, John: we're not "saving" $2.5 billion with these cuts -- we're simply taking that money away from the most vulnerable among us and lining the pockets of the rich and well-connected.

It's wrong. It's immoral. And -- frankly -- it's nauseating.

No one in one of the richest countries in the world should be going hungry. Join me today in the fight for working people, the fight to save the very programs people rely on to support and pick themselves back up.

In solidarity,

Dwight
