Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, the incoming leaders of President-elect Trump’s to-be-created Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), are already threatening funding for Planned Parenthood clinics.

In an op-ed about their plans for “DOGE,” they shared their plans to cut “federal overspending,” including “$300 million to progressive groups like Planned Parenthood.”

Let’s be clear: Planned Parenthood doesn’t get a blank check from the government. Planned Parenthood clinics are reimbursed for the many services they provide, from cancer screenings to vasectomies to reproductive care – just like every other hospital and healthcare provider.

It’s not “federal overspending.” It’s affordable, accessible health care for millions of Americans. Sign on to tell Musk and Ramaswamy: Hands off Planned Parenthood!

When I worked for Planned Parenthood, I saw firsthand the vital services that clinics provide across the country.

In many places, Planned Parenthood clinics are the only affordable healthcare provider. HALF of all Planned Parenthood patients are enrolled in Medicaid and other programs for uninsured patients.

One in three American women has been to a Planned Parenthood health center in their lifetime. Threatening funding for clinics — based solely on the idea that they are “progressive” — would hurt millions of people.

I’ll do everything in my power to stop attacks on our healthcare, John. Join me: Sign on to tell Musk, Ramaswamy, and any other politician to keep their hands off Planned Parenthood!
