John, since you joined our Save the Children family, your dedication has made a HUGE difference for children in crisis around the world!
Let’s look back on all you helped make possible!
YOUR SUPPORT HAS HELPED COUNTLESS KIDS LIKE:
6-month-old Lana*
When the war in Gaza escalated, Tima* was left displaced and had nowhere to safely deliver her baby. Our supporters allowed her to visit a Save the Children-supported hospital, where she was able to have baby Lana and get her medical care.
“I felt happy when I had the baby … I was happy and grateful
to find a place here [at the maternity to give birth].” – Tima, Lana’s mother
9-year-old Yvenson*
In Haiti, hunger and gang violence have made it hard for kids like Yvenson to go to school. But with help from our supporters, we’re working to provide children facing climate disasters and displacement with balanced meals so they have the energy to learn and grow.
“When I go to school I love to write. I also do mathematics. I write. I felt good. I'm happy. They (Save the Children) … gave me crayons, [a] pencil sharpener, and [an] eraser, and also [a] pen.” – Yvenson
7-year-old Saheli* and 12-year-old Sahan*
In Sri Lanka, poverty puts Saheli and Sahan at risk of child labor, hunger and losing out on their education. Thankfully, the generosity of our supporters is providing families like theirs with cash assistance and support so they can live the lives they deserve.
“With the money from Save the Children, I am slowly paying off my debts and managing my children's needs ... Making arts and crafts helps Sahan and Saheli take their minds off the problems we are facing.” – Amali,* Saheli and Sahan’s mother
