As a parent, I struggled to find educational material for children about our nation’s history and values. What I found either A) didn't do a good job of explaining these ideas or B) was just plain boring!

I decided that if I couldn’t find what I was looking for, then I should try to solve the problem. I teamed up with illustrator Elijah Stanfield to create a series of books written to entertain while also educating kids about important values and life lessons.

Once we finished, I had to see if they could pass the final test. I gave them to any parent’s harshest critic, my children. And they loved them!
