For LGBTQ+ young people, having just one supportive adult in their corner can make all the difference. When LGBTQ young people report feeling accepted by an adult, their odds of attempting suicide are significantly lower. In many instances, by more than 40%.

These young people often face challenges that leave them feeling unseen or unsupported. But when someone shows up for them — with love, acceptance, and understanding — it’s transformative. That’s what being the one is all about.
