I'll get to it, John -- it's time we elect more fighters to the Senate. That's why I'm proud to endorse Theresa Greenfield for U.S. Senate in Iowa and why I'm going to fight to help get her elected.

Theresa is a scrappy farm girl. Growing up, her dad taught her there weren't boy jobs or girl jobs -- just jobs that needed to get done. When her first husband died tragically on the job as a union electrician -- while she had a toddler and another child on the way -- Social Security benefits helped keep her family out of poverty. Union members and her family helped get back on her feet.

Theresa knows the fights working people fight every day -- because she's fought them herself. And in the Senate, she'll fight for Social Security and workers' rights.

Here's the thing: we can't win these fights without taking back the Senate. We need to gain four seats to guarantee a majority and put Mitch McConnell out of power. Iowa is critical to that effort. This month a poll showed Theresa is virtually tied with her Republican opponent. That sent national Republicans into overdrive. They've pledged to spend tens of millions of dollars to stop her and this grassroots team. That's where we come in.
