Election denialism has staying power even after Trump’s win
— Missouri Independent, December 3, 2024
And in Arizona, Republican U.S. Senate candidate Kari Lake, who has spent two years disputing her defeat in the 2022 governor’s race, hasn’t acknowledged her Senate loss. While she thanked her supporters in a video posted to X, the platform formerly called Twitter, she stopped short of conceding to Democratic U.S. Rep. Ruben Gallego.
Folks — a second Trump Administration means that we’ll have to be continually vigilant against the misinformation and denialism that instills unwarranted distrust in our free and fair elections.
While we’ve finalized the counts and Ruben Gallego will be Arizona’s next Senator, Kari Lake still has yet to officially concede the race and has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to drag losing election denial claims in court.
We need a coalition of folks across the country to stand up against election denialism and extremism. Will you add your name today? [[link removed]]
