Oklahoma,

It was another big week in Washington as we prepare for the incoming Trump administration. I met with more of President Trump’s cabinet nominees, and Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy were in town to discuss the Department of Government Efficiency. Keep reading for a special announcement about our next telephone town hall.

This week, I had the opportunity to meet another one of President-elect Trump's great cabinet picks, Linda McMahon. Mrs. McMahon brings an impressive resume filled with charitable work and excellent managerial experience. Most importantly, she shares my belief on making education as local as possible. I'm excited to have such a gamechanger reform the Education Department as its' secretary, and I look forward to voting for her confirmation.

Yesterday, I delivered opening remarks at a Senate Environment and Public Works Subcommittee Hearing titled "Examining the Public Health Impacts of PFAS Exposures." PFAS are a manmade group of chemicals used to manufacture a wide variety of products, from cancer treatments, pacemakers and inhalers to water filtration, cell phones, and military aerospace equipment. They’re great for durability and resilience. However, some environmental activists want to blanket ban these chemicals for unclear health reasons without evaluating each chemical on an individual basis. When it comes to government regulation, Congress has a tendency to over react. As the subcommittee's Ranking Member, I'm committed to ensuring Congress gets it right without hurting our health, our economy, or market innovation.

Chuck Schumer is at it again. He's so scared of President-elect Trump that he's putting up as many barricades as possible. Whether it's radical, liberal judges or calling for more protections for illegal migrants, he and the Democrats are hoping to delay the America First Agenda. Unfortunately for them, but fortunately for Oklahoma, President Trump and Senate Republicans will be ready to get America back on track. Watch this week's Weekly Wrap Up for more.

Today, I attended the Western District of Oklahoma Court Naturalization Ceremony. I'm happy to welcome so many new Americans that sacrificed so much to legally join the greatest country on Earth as citizens. Their drive, hard work, and dedication is a testament to all Americans. I look forward to working for them.

Following the naturalization ceremony, I sat down with seven active judges of Oklahoma's Western District Court. We discussed updates on current case loads, recent court operations, and I answered questions pertaining to my work on the federal level. Oklahoma's Western District Court covers 40 counties and is apart of Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. I'm grateful for all of their hard work for the state.

The left is terrified of the Department of Defense being reformed. They can't stand the thought of someone cleaning house and dismantling the bad actors that have weakened the American warfighter. That's why they're doing everything possible to slander President Trump’s cabinet nominee, Pete Hegseth. Hegseth is the disrupter we need at the Pentagon. He'll put our service men and women first. That's why on Wednesday night I joined Kaitlan Collins on CNN's The Source to make the case for his confirmation. Watch the full interview here.
