Every vote has been counted and the election results have been certified. I am deeply honored to be re-elected to represent California’s 15th Congressional District. This victory is a testament to your support and our shared commitment to the principles that we cherish.
While I am incredibly grateful for the trust you’ve placed in me, I share the deep disappointment felt by many in our community about the national results. Yet, I remain committed to strengthening our democracy, upholding the rule of law, and protecting the Constitution with a focus on those most vulnerable among us.
The journey ahead may not be easy, but I am ready to work day and night to safeguard our rights, build an economy that truly works for everyone including struggling middle class workers, strengthen climate resilience, and deliver the federal resources our district needs. As challenging as these times may be, we must remember that as Americans, we have much more in common with our neighbors than what sets us apart.
