Speaker Mike Johnson Confirms He Wants to Defund Planned Parenthood
Speaker Mike Johnson confirmed in a new interview that he wants to defund the Planned Parenthood abortion business.
The Speaker of the House says he’s fully on board with taking away taxpayer dollars from America’s biggest abortion chain, but the House would need the votes to do it. With a very narrow Republican majority and no pro-life Democrats that’s easier said than done.
Still, Johnson said he would like to defund the abortion giant and is working to build the votes to do it. Likely, the only way that can be accomplished is via a reconciliation bill — which both the House and Senate can pass on a majority vote margin.
“I would like to. That’s for sure,” Johnson said in an interview on Fox News’s “The Story with Martha MacCallum,” when asked whether he plans to axe the two organizations.
“Yeah,” Johnson said, when MacCallum clarified whether he wants to cut spending to the organizations, adding, however, that, “We got to build consensus to have the votes to do that.”

The Rise and Impending Collapse of DEI
The Trump Administration has a big opportunity to curtail racism.
Donald Trump’s victory was in part a decisive repudiation of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), the odious, unconstitutional, racist, and sexist grift concocted by the extreme Left as a radicalized form of affirmative action. DEI is based on Critical Race Theory (CRT), the doctrine that all whites are bigots. It has been fused into the firmament of academia, government, and business by the far Left, those beholden to it (particularly Joe Biden), and those fearful of it (including corporate boards and CEOs).
DEI and CRT have destroyed the careers of straight white men and Asians, humiliated blacks and other minorities who can excel without preferences, reduced government effectiveness and business productivity, savaged American exceptionalism, violated the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment, and vitiated a century of federal civil rights laws.
Though some studies have found an increase in profitability for businesses with diverse work forces or boards (see here ([link removed] ) , here ([link removed] ) and here ([link removed] ) ), those findings confuse DEI with corporate cultures that achieve diversity without prejudice—and improve competence and success by doing so. More importantly, increasing profits is not a jurisprudentially sound justification for ignoring the Constitution, let alone a moral or ethical basis for race or sex discrimination.

Court Orders Hawaii to Allow Good News Clubs at Every Public School
The Christian youth organization responsible for Good News Clubs in public schools around the country is celebrating its win in a long-fought battle to ensure equal access to classroom facilities.
Liberty Counsel, the Christian legal advocacy firm representing Child Evangelism Fellowship, announced in late November its client received a permanent statewide injunction, allowing the Good News Clubs — a weekly extracurricular gathering during which 5- to 12-year-old kids learn Bible lessons, recite memory verses, sing praise songs, and play games — to operate in every school district in Hawaii.
“This is a welcomed win not only for CEF Hawaii but for all Christian groups in the public square,” Fred Pry, acting vice president of administration for CEF, told The Christian Post. “The Constitution is crystal clear that the government cannot discriminate on the basis of religion or free speech.”
As a result of the injunction, Good News Clubs will have the same access to school facilities as any other group.
In January, Liberty Counsel filed a lawsuit against Aloha State education officials after four school districts on the islands blocked the Christian clubs from meeting on public campuses. In the legal complaint, attorneys argued that, by affording school access to secular groups while prohibiting faith-based meetings, district officials were violating the First and 14th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution.
