I hope you're staying safe and healthy.
Our?weekly Zoom meeting aimed at creating an
online space for communication and collaboration, which we have called
"Coffee And A Column," has taken off with great success thanks to you
all.?
It has been a pleasure for me to receive your thoughts and
questions and to engage with you in interesting conversations of
relevance to our communities around the country.?
Despite the disappointments and inconveniences resulting from
having to cancel all in-person plans and events, this Zoom gathering
has been a timely and rewarding opportunity for all of us to come
together and exchange ideas.
Our call, which is based on my
nearly-three-decade-old?Washington Watch?column,
continues to be a Wednesday afternoon regular as we continue to social
distance. This week, our gathering on May 20 coincides with the
release of my newest book, "The Tumultuous Decade," which I
discuss in my column's?latest article. I look forward
to expanding on key points and findings from my book live with you
this Wednesday at 2 p.m. Eastern.
