According
to a new study by the Kaiser Family Foundation, over 27 million people may
have lost their employer-sponsored health insurance during this crisis.

Can we pause on that fact for a moment? 27 million people. In the middle
of a global pandemic. The sheer gravity of that idea is incredibly
troubling.

That is a crisis. Full stop. And it is clear evidence as to how badly the
working-people of this country need Medicare for All. The private health
insurance system is simply broken.

Health care is a human right. The notion that our friends, family members,
and neighbors are handling a pandemic without proper access to health
care, never knowing if they’ll face a surprise bill because of insurance
complications, or being forced to take on debt to finance treatment is
unconscionable.

But there is hope. Progressives have been fighting for Medicare for All
for years, and this movement is closer than ever to seeing that dream
become reality. We just have to keep up the fight.

public support to ensure health care for everyone?

Thanks for all of your help,

Ro
