Next month, our country should be celebrating the 52nd anniversary of Roe v. Wade, a landmark decision that granted women in all 50 states the freedom to choose.

Instead, because of an extremist Supreme Court, abortion rights are no longer protected at the federal level. Since the Court’s decision to overturn Roe in 2022, we’ve seen over a dozen states enact near-total abortion bans — many with no exceptions for rape, incest, or health of the mother.
