Joining Allies in Deterring The CCP
The Chinese Communist Party remains our nation's greatest threat. The CCP has proven time and again that they intend to undermine our defense capabilities, intellectual property, educational institutions, and much more.
Strong allies in the Indo-Pacific are essential to deterring aggression from the CCP, something they have shown time and again to be capable of. The United States, South Korea, Japan, and other allies in the region can enhance our collective military strength and bring peace and stability to the region. Recently, I wrote an op-ed on this very threat and the response that the United States must present to rising tyranny from the CCP. You can read that whole piece here.
This week, I joined my colleagues on the Select Committee on the CCP to discuss the CCP's current military capabilities and how the United States and our allies can best respond. You can find my comments here.
