The Liberals are again exploiting the anniversary of the Polytechnique massacre to announce new anti-gun measures.



Banning firearms is just another way for them to motivate their far left urban supporters who have never seen a gun in their lives and have an irrational fear of it.

And pretend to fight criminal violence while attacking peaceful gun owners.

But as anyone who has done basic research on the matter knows, that will do absolutely NOTHING to lower crime.

Most gun crimes in Canada are committed with illegally obtained guns smuggled from the US, as police associations have argued.

Crime is up in Canada because the Liberal government has been importing foreign criminals and terrorists, and keeps releasing repeat offenders instead of locking them up.

John, the PPC has had the same firearms policy for years.

A People's Party government will:

• Replace the Firearms Act
• Replace the costly and burdensome licensing system
• Simplify the classification system
• Repeal the Liberal cabinet decisions to ban hundreds of types of firearms
• Repeal Bill C-71 & Bill C-21
• And mandate that all future changes to firearms regulation be made through Parliament only. This means that neither the RCMP nor cabinet will be able to move the legal goalposts for firearms owners without the approval of Parliament.
