We are pleased to invite you to two upcoming events related to the upcoming primary on June 23rd. The first is a debate this Wednesday (May 20th) for the 9th Congressional District that we're co-sponsoring with our friends at Sunrise NYC, New York City Communities for Change, and New Kings Democrats. The second is our very first digital general body meeting, where we'll be endorsing candidates in several races, including the 9th! That is next week, May 26th.

Joint Forum for 9th Congressional District
New York’s primary elections are scheduled for June 23. We want to make sure everyone in NY Congressional District 9 has an opportunity to assess the four candidates that are running for this seat in the US House of Representatives.
The event will consist of a moderated debate among the candidates, followed by a question and answer session during which audience members will be invited to participate.
This will be an opportunity to get a better sense of each candidate’s vision for issues including the climate crisis, housing, healthcare, education, and criminal justice reform, as well as a chance to hear how each candidate is running their campaign.
The event will be hosted on Zoom with a live stream to Facebook.

BYD Endorsement Forum
BYD will be holding its first ever virtual General Body Meeting on Tuesday May 26th. We will be endorsing candidates in the following primary races: NY-9, AD-43, SD-20, and Male District Leader in AD-53. Click here to RSVP on Facebook!
