When you join the military you put your country before yourself.

You agree to give everything, even your life, in defense of our nation.

You go where leadership tells you to go. You leave your family and friends behind. You follow orders, and do your duty.

But when you come home, you at least know that the country you served has made a commitment to care for you.

Even that isn’t guaranteed though, and care is often difficult to obtain. I’ve had to navigate the VA myself and help my brothers in arms do the same. We can always do better, and we should always seek out opportunities to improve efficiency and quality of care. That’s what I’ve done in Congress, and what I intend to do in the Senate.

But the radicals running Project 2025, getting ready to serve in Trump’s administration… They don’t see it the same way.

They’re telling us, in the open, that they want to end the VA as we know it. They want to privatize it, gut the care millions of veterans receive, and give massive tax cuts to corporations and their millionaire and billionaire friends.

And I am here to tell you that I will do everything I can to stand in their way.

But I am also here to tell you that this work does not begin and end in Washington. It is up to all of us — including you — to stand up and speak out. It’s going to take a massive team to stop them.

That’s why this campaign is so important. We’ve built something special together over the last two years, and I’m going to keep coming to you for opportunities to get involved.

Today is one of those days. I’m asking you: Will you join me and add your name to speak out against ANY efforts from Trump and his billionaire friends to slash benefits that veterans receive through the VA?
