Friend --
Just days after the election, at 9PM on a holiday weekend, Gavin
Newsom’s Air Resources Board jammed through a 65-cent
per gallon gas price hike, hoping nobody would notice. Newsom is
trying to raise your gas prices so high that you’re forced into an EV.
Read my op-ed exposing his plan here.
Meanwhile, he just purchased a $9.1
MILLION mansion on “Billionaire’s Row” that’s 90 miles away from
his job in Sacramento. Newsom will be chauffeured to work in a
taxpayer-funded car, running on taxpayer-funded gas, on the rare
occasions he decides to show up. We are fighting back against our
elitist and out of touch lame-duck governor.
As soon as the new legislative session began earlier this week, I
introduced Senate
Bill 2 to immediately repeal Gavin’s 65-cent gas price hike and
put an end to his most recent price gouging scheme. Sign the petition
in support of my bill here.
With the red wave in the recent election, Democrat lawmakers are on
notice: Californians are fed up with skyrocketing costs. Bipartisan
opposition to Gavin Newsom’s 65-cent gas price hike is growing, and
with enough momentum, this bill has a real shot at success.
We’re fighting back against Newsom’s senseless political agenda to
purposefully raise gas prices. Can you help us keep up the fight by chipping
in $4, less than the cost of a gallon of gas in Newsom’s
California?
Help
us continue fighting Newsom’s gas price
hikes.
Thank you,
Brian W. Jones
