Lost Creek ISR, LLC, of 1478 Willer Drive, Casper, WY 82604, has applied for an amendment to Source Material License WYSUA 1598 from the Land Quality Division of the Department of Environmental Quality of the State of Wyoming. The license area for the mining of uranium is located in all or portions of Sections 16-20 and 29-31 of T25N, R92W and Sections 13, 24 and 25 of T25N, R93W. The Lost Creek Mine is within the USGS Battle Spring, Osborne Well, Antelope Reservoir and Sooner Reservoir 7.5' Topographic Quadrangle Maps, Sweetwater County, Wyoming. The existing Lost Creek Mine processing plant is in the northeastern corner of the Great Divide Basin approximately 17 miles southwest of the town of Bairoil, Wyoming. The mining operation began August 2013 and is estimated to continue until 2037. The land, after mining, will be returned to livestock grazing and wildlife. The amendment clarifies language in the license and corrects conflicting reporting/monitoring requirements.
