Allow more time for car journeys this weekend

Festive events this weekend, including the drone shows at Trent Bridge as well as the popular Winter Wonderland (above) and Notts County being at home on Saturday afternoon, means that roads and car parks around the city will be VERY busy again 📈

Please leave longer for your journey, and travel by public transport if possible to avoid getting stuck in jams 🚗🚗🚗

Colwick park-and-ride remains closed

Colwick/Racecourse park-and-ride remains closed today (Friday 6 December) and until further notice.

Nottingham City Council apologises for this inconvenience.

• Please be aware that NCT 44 and 50 services are unable to serve Colwick park-and-ride

However, the Queens Drive facility reopened last Friday (29 November) following disruption at the site.

• Bays One and Two will be closed for the next few weeks for safety reasons and pending repairs at Victoria Bus Station following a minor collision. Services have been moved to other stands at the site so please check with your operator for individual bus routes

• Latest Travel updates and planned engineering works from East Midlands trains
• Monday 2 December - Friday 6 December: the 10:52pm Leicester to Nottingham service will depart Leicester later at 10:59pm, and it will not call at Syston or Sileby. A connecting bus will run between Leicester and Loughborough calling at missing stations.
• Monday 2 December - Friday 6 December: amended services between Corby and Syston affecting London St Pancras International and Kettering / Corby / Derby / Nottingham services, and also between Leicester and Nottingham. More here
• Tuesday 3 December - Friday 6 December: engineering works mean that the 5:21am Nottingham to Liverpool Lime Street service will leave earlier at 5.05am
• Saturday 7 December - Sunday 8 December: engineering works between Bedford and London St Pancras will close all lines. An amended service will run between Sheffield / Derby / Nottingham / Leicester / Corby and Bedford. More here

• Monday 9 December - Friday 13 December: engineering works affecting Northern Railways services between Leeds/Sheffield and Nottingham. The 5.15am train from Sheffield will terminate at Chesterfield, with a replacement bus on to Nottingham. The 6.16am service from Nottingham to Leeds will start at Alfreton, with a bus running between Nottingham and Alfreton.
