Folks,

The coronavirus has affected every aspect of our society. We’re all adapting as schools, small businesses, and places of worship remain closed. But that does not mean we should sacrifice our democracy.

No one should have to choose between their health and their Constitutional right to vote. But Republicans are refusing to expand national vote-by-mail and instead forcing folks to risk their safety and vote in person.

Why? Because they know greater voting access would mean they lose. Even Trump said if we had vote-by-mail, “you’d never have a Republican elected in the country again.”

Republicans are dragging their feet on common-sense reforms while hundreds of thousands of Americans are struggling.

I’ve had enough of these partisan games.

It’s time we put the American people first and guarantee their right to vote safely in 2020.
