**While Dallas Rested, Crime Didn’t: A Bloody Thanksgiving Weekend**

Thanksgiving week has come and gone, but while the city took a break, crime didn’t. From stabbings to shootings to unsolved murders, Dallas neighborhoods have been rocked by violent chaos.

And the question on everyone’s mind is this:

**where is the leadership we were promised?**

On Black Friday, instead of a bustling holiday shopping scene, terror struck outside the Cityplace Target. A man was**stabbed in broad daylight** [link removed]—a reminder that danger doesn’t take a holiday. To be clear, this isn’t some isolated freak incident;

**this is the reality Dallas residents face far too often.**

Then there’s West Oak Cliff, where a man was gunned [link removed] down early Sunday morning. While police arrested 43-year-old Pedro Vazquez in connection to the shooting, it’s little comfort to grieving families and neighbors asking why these tragedies are becoming so common. Over in South Dallas, another life was taken, [link removed] and another family destroyed, as the U.S. Marshals Task Force worked to apprehend a suspect in the fatal stabbing of a resident just days before.

Violent crime is spiraling out of control, and

**Dallas leadership is asleep at the wheel.** Props S and U passed because residents are sick and tired of empty promises. Yet what have we seen? Delays, debates, and excuses while families continue to live in fear.

**Dallas, this city belongs to us**—not to the criminals running rampant or the politicians who refuse to act. It’s time to hold the city council accountable.

**Contact your council member**, flood their phones, demand answers, and don’t stop until they take action. Our city deserves better.

Dallas Firefighters Left Hanging—Where’s Their Hard-Earned Pay? [link removed]

Our firefighters sacrifice everything to keep Dallas safe, yet City Hall can’t even get their paychecks right? Delays in the Vacation Buy Back program have left 200 Dallas Fire-Rescue members without the extra cash they count on—just in time for the holidays. This isn’t just a snag—it’s a slap in the face.

**Tracking Illegal Camps:**

**District 7, Councilman Adam Bazaldua**

**"Fair Park Filth"**

Right across from the iconic Fair Park station, this tent and its occupant have claimed the public sidewalk—just steps from one of Dallas’ most notable landmarks.

**Councilman Bazaldua**, how much longer will you allow the heart of your district to be tarnished like this? Public spaces are meant for everyone, not private campsites. It's time to stand up, take action, and restore order. Dallas deserves better—

**clean it up NOW!**

**District 2, Councilman Jesse Moreno**

**"Trash Heap on Hall Street"**

Tucked away on a forgotten corner, camps like this on Hall Street have turned it into a dumping ground for trash and despair. Piles of garbage and makeshift drying lines dominate the corner, turning this once-respected area into a public health hazard.

**Council Member Jesse Moreno**, your district deserves better than this disgraceful scene! It’s time to prioritize action and reclaim our neighborhoods. Dallas residents won’t stand for this negligence—

**let’s clean up our streets and restore Freedman’s Town to the community it’s meant to be!**

**District 6, Councilman Omar Narvaez**

**"**

**Harry Hines Panhandling Hotspot"**

At the bustling intersection of Harry Hines Blvd and Royal Lane, panhandlers have turned this busy roadway into a spectacle of desperation and distraction. This hotspot is not just an eyesore—it’s a safety hazard for drivers and pedestrians alike.

**Council Member Omar Narvaez**, how long will you allow this chaos to persist? Your district deserves streets free from this kind of disorder.

**It’s time to enforce the law, clean up our intersections, and reclaim our public spaces!**

**Mission Statement:**

Keep Dallas Safe exists to address crime and homelessness in Dallas with the goal of transforming Dallas into the safest large city in Texas for residents and businesses. We aim to have a City Council that prioritizes crime rate which directly determines the quality of life in Dallas. We do this by fighting against the "defund the police" movement, holding accountable our city leaders' efforts towards lowering district crime rates, and highlighting our city's homelessness problems by pushing for enforcement of the prohibition of urban camping.
