Rob was on MSNBC and CNN this week to speak with Jake Tapper and Rachel
Maddow about California’s fight against the incoming Trump White House.

On The Lead, Rob explained how Governor Newsom requested $25 million from
the state legislature for state agencies like the Department of Justice to
take on the Trump Administration in court if and when they violate the
law.

As Rob has previously said, “We won’t be caught flat-footed in January.”
Because we already lived through Trump 1.0 for four years, we know he’s
broken the law before and he’s likely to do it again.

We have a good sense of where this MAGA administration is headed on issues
like immigration, reproductive freedom, commonsense gun safety, and the
environment, so Rob’s office has been preparing for weeks, months, and in
some cases years to defend Californians from these potential attacks on
our rights.
