Just last month, we defeated Anthony D’Esposito because of his patterns of corruption, dishonesty and incompetence. Now, he’s lobbying to be Trump’s Drug Enforcement Agency chief and rallying around support for his bid.

Anthony D’Esposito has time and again shown he is incapable of serving in any position of power. As a law enforcement officer, he “failed to safeguard” his department-issued firearm, which was stolen from a vehicle he left it in, allegedly "lied in 2011 to a grand jury" and the District Attorney about an illegal weapons case, internal affairs investigated D'Esposito for "driving while intoxicated and disgracing the uniform," and so much more.

Based on Trump’s disastrous nominees so far, D’Esposito seems to fit right in. Laura will work with anyone to help Long Islanders, but we need to be ready to stand up and fight back against Trump’s destructive policies.
