President Biden’s term isn’t over yet. He has until Jan. 20, 2025, to use his executive power to fight for and protect Black communities. Color Of Change is working tirelessly during this time to hold him accountable to his promises and to push the administration to act on COC’s demands before Donald Trump takes office.

Here’s what we are urging the Biden-Harris Administration to do in its final weeks:

Commute the death sentences of people on federal death row.
Urge Congress to confirm judicial nominees for federal courts and candidates for the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
Grant expungement for those who have been charged with drug-related charges.
Disburse all remaining funds under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) and Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) to communities.
Ensure all funds in the Broadband Equity Access and Deployment (BEAD) program have been distributed and that states are equitably distributing the funds to Black communities.

We have so much work to do to prepare for another four years of Trump. But we cannot wait until after he is sworn in to continue the fight for Black people. Sign the petition and urge President Biden to take action now.
