We officially have our first Republican opponent of 2026.

With the recent Trump victory, MAGA Republicans are feeling emboldened. It’s no surprise far-right opponents are already lining up to take this seat in the midterms. While we’re so proud of our victory, Republicans see something different–I LOST ground! I won by three points LESS than my first election.

I honestly can’t tell you how much I dislike the constant fundraising in campaigns. But we can expect my opponents to come prepared with a massive war chest funded by Republican megadonors. We can’t take anything for granted. You know by now–it takes 3 cycles to truly claim a new district–flip, hold, build.

But we know that MI-03 is a beacon for our ability to make progress. Our victory this year was only possible thanks to the work we put in TWO years in advance. That means that the path to a 2026 victory begins right here, right now. Will you chip in whatever you can today so that we build a solid foundation to take on my opponents in 2026?
