John,
This year, despite everything working against us, Iranian-Americans made history. A record number ran for office, and five Iranian-American women won their races, shaping the future at every level of government.
NIAC’s Organizing Department–with the help of our amazing volunteers–reached over 120,000 Iranian American voters across 16 states, providing election resources and amplifying anti-war voices. The results speak volumes: three out of four Iranian Americans agree that avoiding war with Iran should be a top priority for the next U.S. president.
This resounding anti-war consensus proves that building long-term organizing power for our community is pivotal and possible. The majority of Iranian Americans want to prevent war but other pro-war voices risk creating wrong impression and convincing the public that Iranians want to be bombed, so we need your support to be able to prevent this and spread the word.
Read the full report here to see how NIAC shapes the conversation on civil rights, diplomacy, and representation.
We, additionally, just organized a Post-Election Symposium, where we gathered experts to chart the road ahead under the Trump administration. From disinformation and escalating militarism to attacks on civil rights, the challenges are immense—but so are the opportunities to shape a more just and equitable future. Explore our election panel here and see how NIAC drives this critical work.
Against all odds, NIAC is leading the debate and giving Iranian Americans a seat at the table. Can you make a contribution to help us scale this work in 2025? Your tax-deductible gift will ensure NIAC can keep building power, challenging injustice, and protecting the future of our community.

This is how we win: organizing, showing up, and refusing to be silenced. Together, we can continue shaping a future worthy of our shared values.
