There is no playbook to run for reelection during a pandemic. Get Yard Sign or Bumper Sticker Friend, I hope you and your family are safe and well during this difficult time. Everything has changed over the last few months, and campaigns are no exception. There is no playbook to run for reelection during a pandemic. In early March, I postponed all in-person campaign events. While it was the right thing to do, I missed the opportunity to travel the state and meet with voters. West Virginia delayed the primary election four weeks to June 9. With this change we are coming up on an important FEC fundraising deadline on Wednesday at midnight. Everyone will be watching to see how strong we are because the stronger we are in West Virginia the better the chance we have in keeping our GOP Senate majority. Senate Republicans have President Trump’s back confirming conservative judges. We acted quickly to pass the critical CARES Act to help families and small businesses deal with the economic impact of the pandemic. We are a check on Speaker Pelosi’s liberal spending like the $3 trillion bill she just rammed through the House. To help my campaign finish strong and strengthen our chance of retaining the GOP Majority, please consider making a small donation today. Every little bit, even $5, helps. Your contribution will let all the national special interests know West Virginia is Republican strong.
