We will have around 30 local makers, craftspeople and vendors set up between 11:00AM & 3:00PM. CHRISTMAS PARADE: Bring the whole family out for Auburn's Christmas Parade! Find a spot along Main Street - the parade will step off from Mill Street in New Auburn at 3:30PM and make its way to Festival Plaza on Main Street, where we will light the city's Christmas Tree. TREE LIGHTING: Santa will arrive at the end of the Christmas Parade and he and Mayor Harmon will light the city's beautiful Christmas Tree at around 4:15PM! Enjoy free hot cocoa and treats; visit with Santa; and get some free mittens/gloves/hat from the Auburn Business Association. To avoid expensive tickets, towing and fines, it's important to understand WINTER PARKING in Auburn! For snow storms of a certain magnitude, the City of Auburn will issue a WINTER PARKING BAN to allow Public Works crews to clear our roadways. The city has winter relief parking lots available, but you MUST have a winter relief parking permit! They are FREE and are only available at the Auburn Police Department (60 Court Street).
