And while we didn’t flip the House, we are on track to win the next election and become the check that the world needs on the Trump administration. The simple truth is that if North Carolina Republicans hadn’t gerrymandered their state, we’d have Speaker Hakeem Jeffries in office right now. That means the people support our agenda — but Republican sabotage stood in our way. In 2025 and 2026, we need to outwork Republicans each and every day if we want to overcome the hurdles they throw at us and win a historic Democratic Majority.
