Join us for a special Facebook Live event to see how communities worldwide are responding to the pandemic.
You're invited!
Dear John,
I am so grateful for the compassionate care of our AFSC community during this pandemic. Even in these challenging times, supporters like you recognize that our world is deeply connected and that we must care for one another. Thank you for holding this larger vision!
At AFSC, volunteers are staffing phone lines to help neighbors protect themselves from eviction. Activists are making their voices heard using technology and car caravans. And supporters like you are making gifts to help ensure people around the world can meet basic needs.
I’ll be joined by Associate General Secretary for International Programs Kerri Kennedy and New Mexico Program Director Sayrah Namaste. We will share how AFSC is responding to the needs of communities around the world, how we are promoting safety and peace in this strange moment, and how one program here in the U.S. pivoted quickly to launch a Farm to Food Bank Project. And we will welcome your questions via the comment section or email during the call.
Click here to RSVP to AFSC’s special Facebook Live update or simply go toafsc.org/FBLivethis Thursday at 4 p.m. ET.And please know that you do not need a Facebook account to view the live video. Thank you again for helping us work in new ways to ensure everyone can live in safety and peace. I hope you can join us!
In peace,
