John, the work continues!
This Giving Tuesday, we have an incredible opportunity to share with you: We are officially launching a massive end-of-year campaign: “We’re in this together: Double your impact in PA.”
It has never been more clear how important consistent voter engagement is in realizing a more reflective democracy that reflects ALL people of Pennsylvania. The New PA Project Education Fund is committed to year-round voter registration and civic education centering Black, Indigenous, and other people of color, immigrant communities and the youth all across Pennsylvania.
We are just beginning to witness the enduring impact our work will have on Pennsylvania for generations to come. Starting TODAY, your support will be TWICE as impactful. A family foundation in Pittsburgh has pledged to match every dollar you give—up to $25,000—meaning that together, we can raise $50,000 0 to keep our work going. This Giving Tuesday, will you help sustain our work in 2025 and beyond by pitching in $25 or more and have 2X the impact? |

Here are a few reasons why your donation today matters:
Engaging voters year-round: Your gift supports year-round voter engagement efforts across the Commonwealth, centering Black, Indigenous, and other people of color, immigrant communities and the youth to ensure all eligible voters feel compelled to exercise their freedom to vote in the Commonwealth. To ensure the perspectives of those most affected by our work, NPPEF’s staff resides within our centered communities, and engages voters in places of recreation, worship, educational institutions, social and fraternal clubs, frequented retail establishments, and other community events.
Preparing for 2025: In 2025, PA will elect judges and justices in partisan elections and participate in nonpartisan judicial retention elections, including three PA Supreme Court seats, which will undoubtedly make national news and attract dark money funders like PA’s richest man, Jeffrey Yaas to disrupt our judicial races. We need to make sure that our communities do not lose hope and turnout in 2025 for our local, municipal, and judicial elections. An independent and fair judiciary is needed now more than ever before in the Commonwealth. Most importantly, NPPEF's work seeks to create a more informed electorate that is actively engaged in future elections, with a deeper awareness of the significance of the state judiciary. PA voters are powerful, we are one of only seven states in the entire country that vote for all of our judges and justices in partisan elections.
Defending against attacks on voting rights: We are already seeing attacks on voting rights and mis- and disinformation coming out from the recent election, and these attacks will only continue as we head into the critical local, municipal, and judicial elections next year. We must be prepared to go on the offensive and defend voting rights by pushing for a PA Voting Rights Act (VRA). A state VRA would ensure protections for historically disenfranchised communities who have been underrepresented and underserved in the Commonwealth throughout history.
We are in this together. With your support, we can ensure voting rights and an economy works for all of us. Make your gift today and double your impact! Together, we can empower every voice and protect the future of our democracy.
Your gift today will have a massive impact on allowing us to continue this critical work and build towards a PA that works for everyone. All donations up to $25,000 will be doubled from now until the end of the year. This Giving Tuesday, will you consider making a 2X MATCHED contribution and sustain our work in 2025 and beyond? |
The New PA Project Education Fund (NPPEF) is a non-partisan organization led by community leaders across the Commonwealth dedicated to centering underrepresented and underserved communities to embrace their power. NPPEF ensures full participation in the democratic process through civic education and year-round engagement by centering Black, Indigenous, and other people of color, immigrant communities and the youth - with intention - as they are the least represented and most impacted by decisions our government is making.
