We are thrilled to have recently announced two early endorsements ahead of 2025:

Lily Franklin is running for the VA Delegate, District 41: In 2023, she ran for a seat in a rural district and came just 183 votes short of winning. Since then, she has had countless conversations with her community to see what they need and how she can help move VA forward should she win this upcoming November.

She is running to unseat the GOP incumbent who described the overturning of Roe v. Wade as a “great victory.”

Kimberly Pope Adams is running for VA Delegate, District 82: She is a lifelong Virginian ready to be a voice for her community, which has long been ignored by Richmond. She became an Auditor for the Commonwealth of Virginia and has been a public servant ever since. You read that right: we’re bringing a real accountant to do some auditing in Richmond!

After one of the most expensive House campaigns in decades, she ran for this seat in 2023 and lost by just 53 votes following a recount. She will once again be taking on the anti-choice incumbent for this seat, who has voted to put barriers in place for those seeking an abortion. This race will be CLOSE, and she needs our help to finish the job.

While it may seem too soon, it’s not. As we work to enshrine abortion rights in the state constitution, electing pro-choice candidates to the VA House will be a critical step in that process.
