Chair's Corner

Aloha Fellow Republicans,

As the Chair of the Hawaii Republican Party, I am writing to express my support for the Convention of States initiative and to highlight the vital principles it stands for. In recent years, we have witnessed growing concerns about the overreach of federal power and the erosion of our constitutional rights.

The Convention of States offers a constitutional remedy to restore the balance of power between the states and the federal government. It is a grassroots movement that empowers citizens to take action and reclaim our rights. The Convention of States aims to propose amendments that would impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its jurisdiction, and establish term limits for federal officials.

These amendments are essential to ensuring that our government remains accountable to the people it serves and that our liberties are protected for future generations. As we gather to discuss the future of our  state and our nation, I ask you to consider the importance of this initiative. It is a call to action for every citizen who believes in the principles of limited government, individual liberty, and personal responsibility.

By participating in this movement, we can work together to safeguard our freedoms and restore the principles upon which our nation was founded. Let us unite in support of the Convention of States, a recognized organization by the Hawaii Republican Party, and let our voices be heard. Together, we can bring about the change we wish to see and ensure that our country remains a beacon of liberty and self-governance.

Mahalo for your commitment to our party and our shared values.

If you haven't already signed the Convention of States petition, please do so here: https://conventionofstates.com/.

By signing the petition notification of your signature will be sent to your State Representative and State Senator advising them of your support for Convention of States, and asks them to support the Convention of States Project and consider becoming a co-sponsor of the resolution that will be submitted in the legislative session.
