I’ll be the first to say it: it has been a busy week. I know your inbox has probably been packed full of emails from all kinds of organizations asking for your help on Giving Tuesday—including us.

So, let me say a simple and heartfelt thank you. Thank you for putting Save the Redwoods League at the top of your list and making our Giving TREESday campaign a success!

Thanks to the generosity of 947 members, we exceeded our goal! $101,539 will go toward purchasing and protecting 1,600+ acres of land along the iconic Sonoma Coast. Those wonderful gifts will be matched putting us one step closer to conserving the Sonoma Coast Redwoods, now and forever.

I cannot say enough how critical this acquisition project is. Protecting this forest is so important for the future of our environment. Climate and fire resilience, expanded recreation opportunities, biodiverse habitat—the benefits go on and on.
