Hi John,

I'm writing with good news and bad news.

The good news: A smooth and transparent recount process has confirmed pro-choice Justice Allison Riggs' Supreme Court WIN in North Carolina!

The bad news: Instead of conceding, Justice Riggs' extremist anti-choice opponent is challenging more than 60,000 legitimate ballots, many of them cast by veterans and active-duty members of the military.

Let's make one thing VERY clear: Recounts are a normal part of the process in a close race, but Riggs' anti-choice opponent is attempting to sidestep the will of the voters and engineer a new outcome after having his loss confirmed.

That's why I'm coming to you, John. This legal process (and second recount) will be costly, and Justice Riggs' campaign needs help. Can you split a contribution between her campaign and EMILYs List today? Your gift will go straight to work helping to defend her win and elect more women like her nationwide:
