Dear John,

With Giving Tuesday officially behind us and as the year comes to a close, we want to thank you for all your support. Because of you, this year alone we were able to free or exonerate ten people, help pass several laws, and grow our innocence movement.

And with the contributions you made this Giving Tuesday, we’re looking to build on that momentum heading into the new year. That’s why we’ve extended our Giving Tuesday match opportunity until midnight tonight so your donation can go even further for our work in 2025.

If you weren't able to make a gift on Giving Tuesday, it’s not too late to do so right now. Will you take advantage of this extended opportunity and make a gift right now?

I’m incredibly proud of the work we do at the Innocence Project every day, but it all depends  on support from people like you.

It really is that simple, John: Our critical work to free the innocent, prevent wrongful convictions, and create fair, compassionate, and equitable systems of justice for everyone would not be possible without you. But together, we can continue restoring freedom, transforming systems, and advancing the innocence movement.

That’s why I’m personally asking: Can we count on you to take advantage of this extended match opportunity? Make your 2X-matched gift before midnight tonight and DOUBLE your impact.

Thank you for your continued support,

The Innocence Project works to free the innocent, prevent wrongful convictions, and create fair, compassionate, and equitable systems of justice for everyone. Founded in 1992 by Barry C. Scheck and Peter J. Neufeld at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University, the organization is now an independent nonprofit. Our work is guided by science and grounded in anti-racism.
