Defund the CBC – that’s the message thousands of taxpayers like you sent right to members of Parliament in Ottawa.

Here’s what happened:

The Heritage Committee is considering the future of the CBC.

The Canadian Taxpayers Federation was summoned to testify during an intense committee hearing in Parliament.

You have told us that the CBC is a huge waste of money. The CBC cost taxpayers like you $1.4 billion. What you pay for the CBC could instead pay the salaries of 7,000 police officers and 7,000 paramedics every year.

You told us you want to defund the CBC and end the taxpayer-funded media bailouts.

So we took YOUR message right to Parliament Hill.
