Tara Roberts works to shine a light on the origin story of African people in the Americas, bringing empathy and nuance to their journey. Alongside Diving With a Purpose — a team of Black divers — Tara has spent years searching for shipwrecks to uncover lost stories of the transatlantic slave trade.
