To protect trans people right now, for example, President Biden could declassify testosterone as a controlled substance to increase access to gender-affirming care.²

And just as he pardoned his son, President Biden can use his pardon authority to grant clemency to thousands of people in the criminal legal system, which we know perpetuates racial inequities rooted in slavery and discrimination.
