Broadband Office Hours: Dec. 11
Learn about workforce readiness requirements, BEAD funding opportunity updates and more
The Dec. 11 meeting will offer an opportunity for BEAD applicants, workforce development partners, and other interested parties to discuss the “Workforce Readiness” Requirement in BEAD Volume II. We welcome our workforce development partners to join in the conversation with Jason Freeze of Washington State Broadband Office, Eleni Papadakis of Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board (WTB), and John Glynn of Washington Workforce Association (WWA).
The Washington State Broadband Office (WSBO) hosts twice-monthly office hours. We will provide updates for the state’s current planning process to access federal resources that will bring high-speed broadband infrastructure to unserved and underserved communities.
At the webinar, WSBO will share technical information about our work and get it into the hands of those working to make the Internet for All a reality in Washington. We will share programmatic information and technical assistance relating to the BEAD application process, broadband equity work, and other WSBO programs.
We will also give an update on the BEAD Notice of Funding Opportunity.
